This Homemade Face Mask for Acne and Dry Skin is the best way to deal with adult acne without causing your dry skin to peel! With nourishing essential oils that also help to combat breakouts, your skin will be clear and glowing in no time!
One of my favorite masks to get rid of that angry raccoon is this Insanely Easy DIY Purifying Clay Mask. It makes my skin a bit redder when I first use it (thanks to increased blood flow from the clay), but afterward, it calms down and always looks better.
It is the perfect way to keep the raccoons away.
THE QUALITY OF THE ESSENTIAL OILS YOU USE MATTERS!
After looking closely at the quality, purity, and ethics of so many companies, I’ve fallen in love with both the company and their oils. They have a large line of organic oils and are serious about safety.
HOMEMADE FACE MASK FOR ACNE AND DRY SKIN
- 1 tablespoon Bentonite Clay
- 4 teaspoons Rose organic hydrosol
- 1 drops Frankincense essential oil
- 1 drops Lavender essential oil
- 1 drop Tea Tree essential oil
In a small dish, combine clay, Rose hydrosol with essential oils until a paste is formed. (Do not use a metal utensil to stir.) Add filtered water to desired consistency. You want it thin enough to apply, but not runny. (Over the years I’ve found that different brands of clay absorb liquid at different rates – use your judgment!)
Apply the mask with your fingertips and allow to dry for 20 – 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water and follow with toner and moisturizer.
If you have any left over, store it covered in the refrigerator for up to three days. Add additional water to reuse.
